We’ve written about the dangers of leaving dogs in hot cars before – unfortunately, it’s still a pressing issue that dog welfare charities are working hard to end. We’re joining in to encourage everyone not to take risks by leaving your dog in your car – this infographic proves why it’s so dangerous.
The shocking facts include the potentially fatal effects of dog heatstroke, and also clearly shows how quickly a car can become very hot, even in relatively temperate weather. Essentially, a car is a bit like a microwave – over time a car multiplies the outdoor temperature to dangerous levels.
