It’s so confusing to know what foods are safe to feed your dog and what are poisonous. It can seem like everyone’s got an opinion on dogs and different foods!
As we covered in our previous post about safe foods for your dog (check it out here if you haven’t already), research released from the Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association states that over 35% of pet owners use ‘human food’ to treat. Easy and cheap for the human, but unfortunately for your pup, human foods can be too high in fat and sometimes toxic.
To save any future confusion, with the help of nutrition experts, we’ve compiled one large list on foods you should never feed your dog, and what the symptoms are if ingested.
We’ve got the obvious foods such as chocolate and grapes covered. However, there’s one food that even surprised us at DogBuddy HQ.
Foods You Should Never Feed Your Dog
If you suspect your dog’s consumed any of the above, and you find your dog suffering from any of the symptoms, then seek Veterinary help ASAP.
Of course, if you need a little inspiration for making dog treats excluding these poisonous foods above, check out our dog treat recipe ideas here.
Sharing’s caring
Let us know in the comments section below of any other foods poisonous to our four-legged friends and we’ll feature them in our next infographic.
Don’t forget to share this information with your friends and family to make them aware of foods you should never feed your dog.
