Discover everything you need to know about the Terrier dog breed
What makes a Terrier a Terrier? Originally kept to hunt vermin, Terriers were bred to go down holes in the ground to hunt out rats, rabbits, otters and weasels. Today however most terriers are bred for snuggling on sofas with their owners. Whether your preferred breed is the affable Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the handsome Airedale Terrier or the ever-popular Jack Russell Terrier, we’ve done a little hunting of our own and taken a look at each different Terrier dog breed to find out where the breed came from and where you can adopt your own today.
