Watching your pup grow up and grow old living a happy life brings such joy to dog owners.
Photographer Amanda Jones from Massachusetts, USA, has perfectly captured how bittersweet and emotional it is to watch a dog become a wise old soul in her new book Dog Years: Faithful Friends. Amanda’s project started in 1994 when she first photographed Ruby, a Labrador Retriever puppy. 20 years later, the results of her heartfelt work had finally been revealed to the public.
To celebrate the release of Dog Years: Faithful Friends, we’ve selected a few of our favourite dogs in pictures from the book:
