This week in the world of dogs; finding the perfect dog-job, finding lost dogs, and finding the true meaning of happiness. Get the Scoop!
Bailey lands his dream job
The Australian National Maritime Museum have a new member of their security staff… Bailey the Border Collie. He’s not there to give a friendly welcome to tourists, though. He’s got a very specific security job – keeping the waterside museum free from seagull mess.
Bailey couldn’t be a more perfect fit for the role – he’s an adopted dog, whose foster parents struggled to stop him from constantly chasing birds. He’s so committed to his seagull deterring responsibilities that he often ends jumping into the sea to make sure they got the message. (Or is that just for fun? We can’t quite tell…)
The Gobi Saga continues…

Remember Gobi? We posted a blog about how she won the heart of ultra-marathon runner Dion Leonard, and he made arrangements to bring her back to the UK with him. Well, there have been more twists and turns in their cross-continental love story.
Gobi was preparing to enter quarantine before eventually making the journey to Scotland when she went missing in the Chinese city of Urumqi. Maybe she was impatient to find Dion again? Dion rushed to China find her, crowdfunding his plane ticket and launching a social media campaign.
Just as he was about to lose hope, he found her! A local spotted Gobi and sent Dion a picture. The two are reunited once again, and can look forward to enjoying a very well deserved Christmas together!
True happiness is…
… a dog-sized bucket of tennis balls. Chris the dog buried himself in a large bucket of tennis balls at the Barkhaus, a special dog retreat in Miami, Florida. And if there was any doubt he was the happiest dog in the universe, just look at his delirious face.
