The guys at Top Collar got in touch with us to see if DogBuddy office Pug, Ramón Zepug, would like to try their subscription box service.
Ramón’s not one to turn down treats, so he decided to give Top Collar a whirl.
The three step sign-up was super easy. The difference with Top Collar is that you get the option to choose from two boxes all with very personal touch (we’ll come onto that in a bit).
1. The Discovery Box
Contains treats from all recipes – perfect for dogs who receive regular exercise.
2. The Nutrition Box
Contains treats from lower fat recipes – perfect for the slightly rotund and those watching their waistlines.
For a lovely personal touch we supplied a picture of Ramón during the sign-up process, and this arrived on the front of the box. We thought this was a very lovely touch.
Inside the box was a bag of treats in one of Ramón’s favourite flavours, Cheese and Biscuits. Other flavours available include British classics Roast Dinner and Full English.
It’s reassuring to know that all Top Collar treats are lovingly handmade by the pack and are organic. They plan to release gluten free dog treats in the near future.

Top Collar is the brainchild of Sophie Tregellis, a Philosophy student with a passion for animals. Sophie began selling homemade dog biscuits at charity dog shows, and as she was nearing closer to graduating from Leeds University in 2012, Sophie started thinking seriously about her future. Following a chat with a Careers Adviser, Sophie realised she was so incredibly passionate about her dog biscuits, that with a little guidance from the University, she won grants from SPARK and Shell LiveWIRE to help set up her business.
