We’ve written about the dangers of leaving dogs in hot cars before – unfortunately, it’s still a pressing issue that dog welfare charities, our friends at the RSPCA included, are working hard to end. We’re joining in to encourage everyone not to take risks by leaving your dog in your car – this infographic proves why it’s so dangerous.
The shocking facts include the potentially fatal effects of dog heatstroke, and also clearly shows how quickly a car can become very hot, even in relatively temperate weather. Essentially, a car acts a bit like a greenhouse – over time a car multiplies the outdoor temperature to dangerous levels.
