Dogs make the cutest wedding photographers, Holmes gets a hound, we launch a dog version of Pokemon Go (sort of…), and dogs take over Polaroid Swing. It’s this week’s Scoop!
1. The one rule of being a wedding photographer dog is…
When Peter and Shahr started planning their wedding, they realised they weren’t interested in an expensive gift list for themselves, but knew there are plenty of pups who need extra love. So they decided to create a donation list for a dog rescue centre instead. Wonderful!
Plus, they had surprise wedding guests – three pups, Daphne, Daisy and Zac. The trio turned up armed only with their natural cute-appeal and GoPros to film the wedding – they were there to work, after all!
We hope you live puppily ever after, Peter and Shahr!
2. Sherlock will be back… with Toby the Bloodhound
Possibly the most exciting news this week, Benedict Cumberbatch will be returning to our screens as (probably) everyone’s favourite detective-for-hire. If Benedict is the biscuit to your cup of tea, you’ll be delighted to hear he’ll have a new companion called Toby, a Bloodhound. And yes, you better believe there are photos of them hanging out together.
3. Polaroid, Instagram. Swings and roundabouts. Those dogs, though.
This week we took a break from Pokémon Go to play with a newer, shinier app called Polaroid Swing. To see how it works, move your cursor over the image above! It didn’t take us long to find some cute doggy photos and round up our favourites.
4. Happy Birthday, Your Highness

Can you believe this little guy (officially known as His Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge) is 3 years old already? Those Royals sure know how to celebrate and look cute in photos. Here’s George hanging with best bud Lupo the Cocker Spaniel.
Of course, we do want to remind everyone that as pleading as your dog’s eyes may be, your own ice cream is not an ideal dog treat. Dog’s don’t digest lactose very well so stick to dog appropriate treats. If you are a whizz in the kitchen you can make dog friendly ice cream with these recipes.
