Dogs are surely one of the friendliest species on our planet, so it’s no surprise that they’ve not only won the hearts of humankind but have also struck up a rapport with other members of the animal kingdom, too.
Here are some of our favourite doggy friendships of all time.
1. Land doggo and sea doggo won’t let different habitats come between their friendship.
2. If this isn’t every dogs’ #SquadGoals, we don’t know what is.
3. We won’t point fingers, but one of these critters is getting happy vibes from this friendship and the other is being crowded by a spotty, tail waggy space-hogger.

4. Size makes no difference to true friends. Big meets little with a gentle friendly nose boop.
5. This doggo knows that when he’s had a hard day, his Elephant bestie will be there to stroke the stress away.
Mmm, that’s the spot.
6. Take it from this doggo – when you’re feeling down, just a hug a goat.
7. Pig meets Bully. These guys think they’re long-lost brothers.
We can’t see any resemblance.
8. In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion kisses a Dachshund right on the face.
9. Is this real love? That Guinea Pig looks like he’s there under duress.
10. Labradors are often keen on swimming and know that fish are friends, not food.
11. Talk about unusual, this doggo is in a serious relationship with his dad’s knee.
12. Sometimes friendly affection can get out of hand…
13. Friends can always be brutally honest with each other.
14. “Hey fren’, why you run away? Let’s be friends!”
15. Cuddles with his chick after a hard week give this pup happy feels.
16. Nothing to see here, just a Goldie and a duck enjoying pool time…
17. This dog has clearly never seen Jaws. Gulps.
18. Built in babysitter and hours of entertainment. And that’s just for the adults.
19. This one goes out to all the mums out there. Fur babies, human babies; we love ‘em!
